Dangerous and Hazardous Goods

Chemicals have particular characteristics and many require special treatment.

At David Barry Logistics, we observe legislated restrictions, governing the warehousing or combined storage of chemical products, preventing chemical reactions such as explosions.

Decisions, concerning whether a material may be warehoused together with another material, are made on the basis of Dangerous Goods Storage Protocols.

We offer two varieties of storage:

Segregation Rooms

Certain chemicals may only be stored in a warehouse section that is segregated from other warehouse sections with fireproof walls, doors and ceilings and with isolated bunding.

Special Storage

The size of our facility allows for further segregation of goods, as may be required.

Facilities exist for receiving and dispatch of goods in containers, on trucks and on trailers, all in a secure, under cover, environment.

As you would expect of a Dangerous & Hazardous goods facility, we hold all the relevant licences and certificates that meet our clients’ and regulatory requirements.

We can store and deliver the following, correctly contained, goods:

Flammable gases, liquids and solids, Spontaneously Combustible materials, Oxidising agents, Organic Peroxides, Toxic and Corrosive substances, Acids, Chlorines, Inks and Paints.
